Because the Salem Multicultural Institute
runs on community support and volunteer power, we welcome
individuals, foundations and corporations who have an
affinity with our vision and mission.
Our Vision: That Salem be recognized
as a peaceful community, committed to cultural exchange
and enrichment.
Our Mission: To collaborate with public
and private organizations to promote harmony and understanding
through innovative, educational cultural programs and
activities.
There are three main ways to support what we do: by
volunteering; by helping with sponsorship; and by making
a private individual donation.

To contribute a private tax-deductible donation to
the Salem Multicultural Institute please fill out a
donation form and mail it, along with a check or money

Giving to the Salem Multicultural Institute means you
qualify to take advantage of Oregon’s cultural
tax credit. By matching the total contribution to us
with a gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust you can claim
100% of your donation as a tax credit. Thus reducing
the taxes you owe, up to $500 for individuals, $1,000
for couples filing jointly, and $2,500 for corporations.
If you belong to a corporation or public institution
that might be interested in sponsorship, please consider
us in your annual giving. You'll be joining more than
70 other sponsors making financial and in-kind contributions.
