Salem Multicultural Institute is working
year-round to achieve our mission:
- Increasing collaboration with ethnic communities
- Increasing the number of educational cultural exhibits
- Developing a statewide network of ethnic, cultural,
and community contacts
- Establishing a resource center and clearinghouse
for sharing information about ethnic communities,
events, traditional artists, and speakers
- Increasing youth participation in planning and
development of the World Beat Festival and other Salem
Multicultural Institute-sponsored cultural activities
- Expanding opportunities for K-12 students to participate
in cultural activities throughout the year
