Ever heard of a Death Cafe?
At a Death Cafe, people (often strangers) gather to eat cake or cookies, drink tea, and talk openly about death. There's no agenda, no set themes, and no pressure.
The goal is simple - to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
Please note that this is a discussion group, not a grief support or counseling session.
Join End-of-life Doula Lucia LaNasa for two hours of being death curious, as part of the What Remains exhibit on death and mourning traditions.
Come curious, come as you are. Tea and sweets provided. ð«This event is free.
